Contract Type: Temporary (DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS - Adult & Child Workforce on the Update Service)

Rate: Pay -PAYE = £15.64+HOLIDAY = £17.53 & Umbrella - £19.89

Morgan Hunt is anticipating new opportunities for Project Worker roles, partnering with a number of well-respected homeless charities in [Insert Location], London, to recruit passionate and experienced individuals to support vulnerable people. This is a temporary position focused on providing essential one-to-one support for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support to individuals experiencing homelessness
• Conduct assessments and contribute to personalized support plans
• Accurately record and update client notes and handovers using basic IT systems
• Assist in developing care plans in collaboration with key workers and other support staff
• Accompany clients to appointments and support their attendance
• Ensure that hostels meet health and safety standards (light cleaning may be required)
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring proactive client engagement and regular follow-ups

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within homelessness services, housing, or social care
• Proven experience managing a caseload of vulnerable individuals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Empathy, compassion, and a client-focused approach
• Confident working with individuals with dual diagnosis and complex needs
• Comfortable working around pets (some clients may have dogs)
• Proficient with basic IT systems for daily documentation
