Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for a Project Worker - Complex Needs to join our experienced and committed teams based in Waltham Forest. This is a full-time, permanent position. The starting salary is GBP28,953.79, rising to GBP30,342.85 per annum (pro rata).

About the Project Worker - Complex Needs role:
As a Project Worker in our ELMS Service, you will work directly with residents living with paranoid schizophrenia and other complex needs. Your responsibilities include providing support through key working, managing daily shifts, and maintaining client records. You will liaise with mental health professionals, coordinate appointments, and advocate for residents to ensure they receive appropriate care.
You will conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk and goal setting, and implement holistic support strategies to empower residents in managing their diagnoses and addressing their emotional, practical, and housing needs. Additionally, you will facilitate social activities such as a lunch club, bowling, and an allotment group to foster connection and growth. Your work will be central to guiding residents towards independent living, helping them develop skills and confidence for a healthy, fulfilling life.
The role involves working on a rota from Monday to Sunday, with some weekends required. You will also perform light household chores and travel between project locations.
