The Cherrywood Project is based in Elderslie, Paisley. We are a 9-bedded service supporting individuals with profound needs and Autism across two bungalows. Our residents have long-term, settled lifestyles. We have a dedicated team and are looking to expand it with compassionate individuals eager to develop their social skills and knowledge.
M has lived at Cherrywood for 15 years. She enjoys activities such as going to concerts, days out on the minibus, music classes, aromatherapy, baking, and helping staff with dinner. M loves her music, especially dance tunes, and appreciates her family visits. She values her personal care routines, including baths with bath bombs, which are part of her pamper sessions.
We seek someone who can support M by being a good listener, compassionate, patient, and able to make her feel comfortable. Personal care support is essential, and time spent engaging with her is valued. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided; what matters most is your kindness and willingness to learn.
If you are unqualified, we will support you to work towards a relevant qualification in line with SSSC requirements.
