A very exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team to help provide support to our residents at our service in Middlesbrough.
Working in an environment dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support, and resettlement, you will work with people living with mental health and similar needs, who require support and accommodation. Your responsibilities include assessing needs, building trust, enabling residents to unlock their potential for independent living, and encouraging participation in social and leisure activities to enhance social integration and abilities.
Shift Pattern: Rota basis including weekends and bank holidays
You should naturally work in a manner aligned with Salvation Army Homes' values, demonstrating understanding, patience, pride in your contribution, and the ability to build strong relationships. Experience working with homeless or vulnerable groups, knowledge of support and funding facilities, and comfort in handling complex situations are essential. The role may require on-call shifts, including nights, on a rota basis.
