Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Project Technician in Lincoln to gather data for delivery managers and engineers, perform site surveys, and maintain asset records in SAP and GIS.

You will work with the IOS framework partners to compile schemes and ensure timely outputs while travelling within the East Anglia area. A full UK driving licence and readiness for fieldwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience using SharePoint.
  • Excellent IT skills using Office 365.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proven ability to collate and use spreadsheet data.
  • Willingness to learn SAP, Visio, PDF writers and others.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Client Project Engineers and Partner Project Engineers to compile asset register records when a design evaluation is requested.
  • Source up-to-date HAZOPs or site schematics and P&IDs to identify and locate assets on site.
  • Carry out site surveys as required.
  • Update Hazops or Site Schematics and valve schedules and publish on the agreed platform.
  • Use asset hierarchy to update SAP records.
  • Ensure deliverables do not delay DM4/DM5 unnecessarily.

Comprising of Anglian Water, MGroup, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Framework work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base.The IOS alliance works across multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation. Incorporating new construction, replacement or repair. Spanning the entirety of Anglian Waters asset base.To ensure water and water recycling projects area are managed successfully from inception to completion, ensuring all required standards, regulations, commercial affordability targets and time frames are met, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team who will be prepared to travel within the East Anglia area.What will you be doing as our new Project TechnicianWorking with your local WR IOS delivery team and as part of the Project Technicians group, this role gathers data for Project Delivery Managers, Client Project Engineers and Partner Project Engineers. At DM1, this includes completing scheme data trawls to support evaluations and P&IDs; at DM2, it includes corporate systems interrogation and site surveys; at DM4, it includes completing scheme outputs and deliverables.This information supports the efficient operation and maintenance of Water Recycling sites and improves the quality of asset data and equipment records held in SAP and GIS. As site visits are a key part of the role, a company van is provided and a full driving licence is essential.
