As a Project Technical Lead, you will coordinate upfront design and project delivery, working closely with Project Managers and technical experts across our multidisciplinary teams. Your role includes identifying innovative, sustainable solutions, collaborating with clients, and ensuring delivery of value and excellence. Additional responsibilities include:
Our projects span the water sector, including clean water treatment, networks, wastewater treatment, flooding, and urban drainage. Our local design teams are involved in initiatives like Hull and East Riding’s Living with Water partnership, award-winning projects like the Clifton Integrated Constructed Wetland, and have secured new work with frameworks ahead of AMP 8, including Yorkshire Water's Storm Overflow Alliance, United Utilities' Design Development Partnership, and Northumbrian Water's Strategic Technical Partnership.
About You
We seek someone passionate about solving engineering problems, with leadership qualities and confidence to drive challenging solutions. You should have experience in a similar role within the water sector or a relevant regulated industry. A degree in engineering (or equivalent) is required, and ideally, you are chartered or a member of a relevant institution like ICE. Support for achieving chartership can be provided.
