The role

At Carlisle Support Services we focus on the provision of cleaning, security, events, and retail facilities support services. We are trusted to deliver business critical functions on behalf of our customers in support of their products and services.

As a Project Support Operations Manager, you will be joining an 850 strong team of well trained, experienced, and passionate staff who strive to uphold company values and deliver exceptional services to our customers. Use the training provided to follow HSQE and rail critical safety.

  • Rostering and Staff Allocation
  • Manage staff performance using company policies and procedures.
  • Produce monthly/yearly periodic program in line with contract requirements.
  • Ensure staffing levels are in accordance with works required.
  • Manage Isolation and Possession
  • Produce task safety briefs in line with booked and upcoming possessions and Isolations.
  • Use the system provided Timegate to ensure staff receive hours worked.
  • Ensure all staff have the relevant training as per their job as a periodic operative.
  • New starters are to be inducted and all mandatory training complete within the set timeframes.
  • Recruitment
  • Visits stations pre work to ascertain tasks to assign
  • Visit stations post work to assure standards have been met.
  • Work with your team to allocate client requests accordingly dependant on geographical location of network.
  • Maintenance Of Fleet and Equipment
  • Attraction and bidding of new works
  • Pricing and delivery of works to an agreed profitable level.
The ideal candidate
  • FM Experience
  • Ability to work and lead a team.
  • Ability to be proactive and efficient in approach.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with ad hoc challenges.
Nice to have
  • PTS [Personal Track Safety].
  • IPAF [International Powered Access Federation].
  • PASMA [Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association].

Varied shifts ranging from 8 to 12 working hours inclusive of days, nights, weekend days and weekend nights dependant on business needs and requirements.

40 hours - Monday-Sunday / no 2 weeks are the same need to be flexible / National Travel

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.

  • This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
