About the Role:

We’re currently seeking 3 enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Support Officers to join our team, supporting the Tech Ops function. This is a fantastic opportunity for Junior professionals looking to kick-start their careers in project delivery and public sector technology operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Support Officer, you’ll play a vital administrative role within an established team, helping to ensure the smooth running of projects and day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing minutes
  • Maintaining project documentation, trackers, and reports
  • Supporting resource planning, onboarding, and team logistics
  • Managing communications and stakeholder updates
  • Assisting with compliance, governance, and audit preparation

Key Skills & Experience:

We’re after individuals who are proactive, organised, and eager to learn. You don’t need years of experience—just the right attitude and a willingness to grow.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • A team player with a can-do mindset
  • Experience in a public sector or technology environment is a bonus, but not essential.

This role at Amber Labs is a 12 Month salary based FTC position, and all employees are required to be eligible for BPSS. Please be advised that, at this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.

Our Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch to advise you on the next steps. We have a two-stage interview process for most of our consultants. In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
