Project Support Officer - London - Progression - New!

Package: £38,000 + Permanent + Flexible Hours + Benefits + Company Van

About the role

The Project Support Officer supports the delivery of community-led green space projects across London and the Southeast. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, community groups, and volunteers – sometimes in large numbers – helping to manage and deliver impactful local projects. You’ll also help coordinate and lead volunteering sessions, including with major corporate partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of green space and community improvement projects (hard and soft landscaping).
  • Help manage project progress on the ground – ~50% of your time will be site-based.
  • Lead and supervise volunteer sessions, including large corporate groups.
  • Work with clients, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain health and safety standards and adapt to organisational policies.
  • Report progress to senior management and clients.

Requirements

  • Some experience in a Project Support or similar role.
  • A confident, personable communicator – comfortable leading groups and speaking to stakeholders.
  • Someone proactive, organised, and happy to work independently.
  • Some experience or understanding of health & safety processes.
  • A basic level of IT literacy (MS Office).
  • Full UK driving licence (you’ll have access to a company van for work use).
