Salary - Up to £72,000

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Support Officer to join our team and provide critical support across a range of projects within our PMO function. This role is ideal for a candidate with demonstrated experience in program or change management, particularly within financial services, and a strong understanding of operational risk and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project support across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and delivery methodologies.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of change initiatives across business units.
  • Support program governance through risk, issue, and dependency management.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Liaise with risk, compliance, and assurance teams to ensure alignment with internal frameworks.
  • Assist in the deployment and use of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as IBM OpenPages or similar tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in PMO, change management, or program management roles within a financial services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational risk frameworks and internal control processes.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory objectives relevant to the financial services sector.
  • Exposure to or experience with GRC platforms, particularly IBM OpenPages, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
