Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Project Support Officer for a hybrid position based in London. The successful candidate will provide coordination, governance, and scheduling support across multiple workstreams within a significant public-sector network transformation programme. A strong background in project support and excellent communication skills are essential. The role offers up to £330 per day and requires candidates to be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project support within public sector projects.
  • Ability to maintain programme documentation and governance records.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and milestone tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain RAID, programme documents, decision logs, and governance records.
  • Support management reporting, including dashboards and meeting packs.
  • Assist with scheduling, milestone tracking, and site visit coordination.
  • Track budgets, resources, and timesheets.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, agendas, minutes, and action logs.
  • Support document control, change logs, and quality checks.
  • Maintain SharePoint/Teams and ensure data accuracy.

Skills

Strong PSO/PMO background in complex programmes
Confident stakeholder engagement and communication
Proficient with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
Dashboard/reporting experience desirable
Ability to secure NPPV3+ SC clearance

Project Support Officer (PSO)

Location: Hybrid - London

Contract: 6 months initial

Rate: Umbrella up to £330pd

A major public‑sector network transformation programme requires an organised Project Support Officer to provide coordination, governance, reporting and scheduling support across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain RAID, programme documents, decision logs and governance records.
  • Support management reporting, including dashboards and meeting packs.
  • Assist with scheduling, milestone tracking and site visit coordination.
  • Track budgets, resources and timesheets.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, agendas, minutes and action logs.
  • Support document control, change logs and quality checks.
  • Maintain SharePoint/Teams and ensure data accuracy.
Skills & Experience
