We have a fantastic opportunity for a long-established engineering firm, specialising in steel fabrication and GRP installation. They are seeking a Project Support Engineer to assist with the management of small-scale projects. With over 30 years’ experience in the railway, construction, and utilities sectors, the company prides itself on delivering bespoke solutions with a skilled workforce and cutting-edge facilities.

This role would be ideal for someone with a practical understanding of engineering drawings and project coordination. It suits an organised, detail-focused individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Ideal candidates will be early in their engineering careers and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings
  2. Assist in the coordination and delivery of small projects
  3. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the internal workshop team
  4. Support the preparation of documentation and progress reports
  5. Ensure all activities meet quality, safety, and project requirements

In return you’ll receive a salary of £40k-£45k.
