Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Project Support Coordinator to assist in delivering the Accelerated Cancer Career and Capability Pathway across SWAG, coordinating activities with NHS providers, HEIs, hospices and community partners.
You will help with meetings, data collection, reporting and stakeholder communications to support workforce development in cancer care. This role requires strong organisation and relationship-building in a collaborative NHS environment.

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Project Support Coordinator to support the delivery of an innovative Accelerated Cancer Career and Capability Pathway for pre-registration nursing and allied health profession students.
The programme aims to develop and implement a nationally scalable education and workforce development pathway that embeds the ACCEND (Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development) Framework within undergraduate education and practice learning. Initially piloted across the Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Gloucestershire (SWAG) Cancer Alliance, the programme will help students develop enhanced cancer and palliative care capabilities through specialist placements, simulation, mentorship and career development opportunities.
Working closely with NHS organisations, Higher Education Institutions, hospices, community providers and Cancer Alliance colleagues, you will provide essential project management, administration and coordination support to ensure successful delivery and evaluation of this programme.

Cancer Alliances are an essential delivery vehicle in transformation, innovation and improvement of cancer services.
Cancer Alliances use their expertise to lead whole system planning and delivery of cancer care, working with their constituent Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).
Cancer Alliances hold a delivery plan on behalf of their ICB(s) to deliver on the Long-Term Plan for cancer.
Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Gloucestershire Cancer Alliance (SWAG CA) constituent ICBs are Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG); Somerset; Gloucestershire; Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW).

SWAG CA is hosted by Bristol NHS Foundation Trust for the purposes of formal employment and the provision of back‑office support to the Cancer Alliance.
