Job summary

Comxps Ltd is seeking a senior Programme Manager to deliver CIS projects for a UK Defence contractor. You will work in Wiltshire on a hybrid model with onsite attendance for key sprint and project meetings.

The role requires DV clearance, extensive PM experience, and proficiency with Agile, SAFe and PRINCE2. A track record of managing complex information systems, budgets and security requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience delivering CIS delivery in Defence.
• Experience in secure Defence environments.
• Nationality of a member nation with excellent English.
• Strong PM, budgeting, and risk/issue management.
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe and PRINCE2.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex CIS projects in Defence.
• Operate within highly secure Defence environments.
• Plan programs with risk and issue management.
• Capture requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance.
• Coordinate Agile/SAFe/PRINCE2 practices.

Experience Required

• 10+ years' experience within Communication & Information Systems (CIS) delivery in Defence
• Experience working within complex, highly secure Defence environments
• Experience with the UK Defence National Armaments Director Group – Digital & Data would be highly desirable, as would experience designing, delivering or managing networked static/deployable Command & Control systems.
• Practical experience of CIS systems and software
• Candidates must hold the nationality of a member nation and have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong Project, Programme or Portfolio Management experience
• Delivery of complex Information Systems projects
• Agile, SAFe and PRINCE2
• Programme and project planning, including risk and issue management
• Budget and financial management
• Requirements capture and acceptance criteria
• Static and deployable/mobile Information Systems
• Understanding of security and communications requirements within system design
• Service transition and Service Management
