National Grid is recruiting a Project Supervisor for the Eastern Green Link 1 (EGL1) project. Based at the Seaham site, you will act as site representative and NEC/FIDIC supervisor, providing risk-based assurance of construction activities.
You will monitor progress, review ITPs and QA documentation, witness inspections, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and compliance.

We are recruiting for a Project Supervisor to support on our Eastern Green Link 1 (EGL1) project and be National Grid's site representative, providing risk-based assurance of construction activities across allocated work fronts. This role requires 5 days a week travel to the project site based in Seaham, County Durham, so you will need to live in a commutable distance. To act as National Grid's Project Supervisor and NEC Supervisor representative, providing independent assurance that construction works are delivered safely, compliantly and in accordance with contractual, technical and quality requirements. The role provides risk-based oversight of Principal Contractor activities through sensible monitoring, ensuring delivery aligns with National Grid standards, project specifications and statutory obligations.
A competitive salary of £47,000 – £55,000 per annum, depending on capability.
