Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role on live construction projects.
  • Ability to manage construction phase documentation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct toolbox talks on health and safety.

Job description

Location: Carlisle - Covering the Northeast of England and Scotland

Emtec Facility Services are looking for a Project Supervisor to oversee building fabric and hard service remedial works across the Northeast of England and Scotland. This role is ideal for someone with a facilities Management background and experience in building fabric, construction or M&E Trades.

This role is offered with a competitive salary and a company van.

The Role

  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Create a scope of work with approved contractors and coordinate supply chain resources.
  • Support pricing of individual projects and work packages.
  • Oversee site setup, deliver inductions, and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and engage with workers on health, safety, and welfare.
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with subcontractors to maintain smooth operations.
  • Complete final inspections and coordinate remedial work as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in a similar role, working on live construction projects.
  • working on live construction sites with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of technical drawings, specifications, and Health and Safety procedure.
  • Proven experience managing sub-contractors and site-based operatives.
  • Ability to collate and manage construction phase documentation.
  • A full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

It would be great if you have

  • Valid CSCS card, First Aid Certification, IPAF, and PASMA.
  • Experience in producing construction phase plans.
