Job summary

Pertemps Network Group in Leeds is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to take project delivery from design through to completion. This role requires at least five years’ postgraduate experience and progress toward Chartered or Incorporated status.

You’ll work on a range of materials, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, liaise with clients and contractors, and contribute to the growth of our engineering team in a progressive, employee-owned consultancy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years’ postgraduate structural engineering experience.
• Progress towards Chartered or Incorporated status.
• Strong structural analysis and design skills across different materials.
• Experience managing project delivery within a consultancy environment.
• Familiarity with relevant design software, such as TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame and MasterSeries Retaining Wall.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach.
• A valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering projects from design through to completion.
• Undertake computer analysis and structural design across a range of materials.
• Manage project activities and coordinate with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other construction professionals.
• Coordinate the work of project engineers, graduates and technicians.
• Resolve technical challenges and communicate practical design solutions.
