About the role :

Arrotex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Specialist to join our dynamic Project Management team. The Scientific Affairs Department is accountable for providing technical and scientific expertise and leadership to the business, to ensure that products are submitted, approved, launched & maintained over the product life cycle in accordance with the applicable government regulations and Arrotex business requirements.

The Project Management team within Scientific Affairs is responsible for project management of a range of business and technical projects, to deliver agreed business goals for Business Owners and Stakeholders. Projects managed by the Project Management Team include :

1. New product launches.
2. Source-of-supply changes; brand consolidations; product discontinuations.
3. Other business projects as required.

As a Project Specialist, under the guidance of the Project Team Manager, you will proactively engage with business stakeholders to ensure the portfolio of assigned projects are managed and communicated effectively through the project lifecycle, to deliver defined business goals.

Role & Responsibilities :

1. Take ownership of scoping and initiation of new business projects through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Be comfortable enough to adapt your communication style depending on stakeholder engagement as well as being able to present in front of Senior Managers and Business owners.
3. Establish project schedules, risk registers, and communication plans.
4. Lead project implementation, provide progress updates to stakeholders / senior management, and be able to use critical thinking skills to escalate decisions as required.
5. Establish lead and document the outcomes of project meetings to review progress and ensure actions are implemented and risks are communicated and addressed.

Skills & Experience :

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. Proven experience in project coordination or project management roles in a similar industry.
3. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Be someone who can demonstrate agility and not be afraid to think outside the box.
6. Identify gaps in current processes and show how they might be able to be improved.
7. Proficient in project management tools and software.
8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
9. Strong Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
10. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
11. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
