Job summary

Solarpro is seeking a proactive Project Site Engineer to support utility-scale Solar PV & BESS EPC projects across the United Kingdom. The role is site-based and requires hands-on coordination to keep construction on track with drawings, specifications and schedules.

The successful candidate will act as the technical interface among the Project Construction Manager, engineering, subcontractors and QA/QC teams, promoting safe, efficient construction practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of EPC construction experience.
• Experience with utility-scale Solar PV projects.
• Experience on projects larger than 20 MW.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure works follow drawings and specs.
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor daily progress against schedule.
• Support Project Construction Manager in planning and execution.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
• Maintain site records, daily reports and progress updates.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical and grid works.
• Promote safe working practices with the HSE team.

KeyResponsibilities
