Overview

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Project Services Field Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The role involves supporting the delivery of the Project Services Team to meet customer requirements, especially regarding new store openings, closures, and modifications to existing estates, including structured cabling, software upgrades, IMAC, and remedial shop fitting works. The client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver on-site projects according to customer specifications and statements of work, including structured cabling, data communications, IMAC work, software upgrades, decommissioning, and remedial shop fitting works.
2. Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety standards, managing risks to self, customers, and the public.
3. Stay updated on legislation and product developments to maintain high standards.
4. Keep customers and the Project Services Team informed on project progress.
5. Report to helpdesk as needed, following escalation procedures.
6. Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager throughout the project.
7. Accurately record stock deployment and maintain inventory records.
8. Complete all documentation for performance reporting and customer service monitoring.
9. Coordinate with the Project Services Team for real-time logging and availability.
10. Return and package decommissioned equipment within two days, ensuring proper documentation, assembly, and labeling.
11. Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
