Team/Role Overview

The Markets Operations Transformation team supports stakeholders within Operations and across the bank to design and deliver a multi-year transformation roadmap. Our transformation is underpinned by strategy, investment, change execution, and a market-leading operations change delivery team focusing on program and project management, business analysis, process re-engineering, low code application development, and PMO.

The Project Senior Analyst applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows. They integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requiring an understanding of how areas integrate within the sub-function and contribute to overall business objectives. They evaluate moderately complex issues with substantial impact, develop approaches by weighing alternatives, and use multiple sources of information. They often assume leadership roles within teams, coaching and training new recruits. Their performance significantly influences project outcomes across size and geography, and they provide advice and facilitate services to others in their area of expertise.

What you’ll do

1. Ensure creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
2. Identify, document, and understand project dependencies.
3. Ensure change control is executed throughout the project.
4. Establish project communication needs and support creation of a communication plan.
5. Measure project management performance against standards.
6. Create the project risk management plan.
7. Escalate project risks to the Project Director or Sponsor when appropriate.
8. Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to resolve issues.
9. Operate with limited supervision, exercising judgment and autonomy.
10. Provide sophisticated analysis and develop innovative solutions.
11. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members.
