Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking risk professionals to help identify, assess and manage risk across UK programmes in Defence, Rail, Infrastructure, Digital and AI. You will build sector experience while developing specialist expertise in risk management and governance.

Key requirements include ISO 31000 knowledge, facilitation of risk reviews, and experience across major UK programmes. Hybrid working and UK MoD clearance eligibility are relevant factors.

Qualifications

• Experience applying risk management within project or programme environments.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks aligned to ISO 31000 or similar.
• Experience facilitating risk reviews and workshops with clear insights for decision-making.
• Practical experience of quantitative risk analysis (QRA) or a desire to develop these skills.
• Familiarity with risk and project controls tools such as ARM, Safran Predict!, Primavera Risk Analysis, Power BI and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate risk workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Develop and maintain project and programme risk registers.
• Assess risks and opportunities against project objectives.
• Produce clear and insightful risk reporting.
• Support risk management plans, frameworks and governance.
• Work with project managers, project controls teams and senior stakeholders.
• Support qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of risk processes and tools.
• Promote proactive risk management cultures with clients.
• Present risk insights to senior client stakeholders.
• Influence project decisions through risk-based recommendations.
