Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team on high-profile construction projects across the UK and Europe. You will provide performance reporting and analysis, lead risk scope definition, and work with client teams to deliver robust risk management strategies.

Ideal candidates have experience in programme controls, earned value, planning, and a strong grasp of governance. This role emphasizes proactive risk management and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.
• Applicants will ideally be degree educated, with previous industry & sector experience being essential.
• Previous experience with Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, PRISM or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, rigorous governance, and ability to innovate in changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines.
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methods and produce project control reports.
• Provide performance analysis and recommendations for clients.
• Define and deliver the Risk scope and engage with client teams for inputs.
• Carry out and demonstrate benefits of risk exercises (QSRA, QCRA) and lead improvement initiatives.
• Support the client in raising the profile of project risk management.
