Job summary

Costain, working with Thames Water, seeks a project quantity surveyor for East Thames, Hertfordshire, Essex and East London regions. The role covers a range from small capital maintenance to large civil new build, reporting to the commercial manager and ensuring work is procured and delivered within budget and to client quality expectations.

The position is hybrid and permanent; a driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Procure and deliver work within budget and to client quality expectations.
• Identify contractual and commercial risk and opportunity for the project director or manager.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly progress valuations and claims for completed work within deadlines.
• Support the commercial manager and senior commercial manager in day-to-day commercial duties.
• Issue notices and correspondence accurately, timely and compliantly.
