PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR – AVRS
NATIONWIDE

What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team at AVRS, a Galliford Try business. You will have project controls responsibility. As part of the role, you will be required to work autonomously and implement the company's project controls & administration strategy focused on “on time, on budget” principles, utilising and contributing to the existing quality assurance system and environmental management systems.

  1. Undertake quantity surveying duties for projects the company secures.
  2. Ensure the correct administration of the contracts the company undertakes.
  3. Ensure that programmes are maintained and submitted in accordance with the contract.
  4. Ensure the timely submission of cost, forecast and valuation data to your seniors.
  5. Understand & implement QA policies of the company.
  6. Undertake general and contractual administration for the company.
  7. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, design team, authorities, utilities and associated organisations.
  8. Represent the company to senior managers of client organisations.
About You:
  1. You will hold a Quantity Surveying degree.
  2. Some experience in a project controls background.
  3. Commercially aware with a strong focus on teamwork and change management.
  4. Mentoring and working with colleagues, sharing knowledge and experience.
  5. Communicate and present in a professional manner, both written and verbally.
  6. Actively demonstrate initiative and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently.
  7. Knowledge of NEC and ICHEM E desirable.
