Project Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor - Maidstone, Kent

We are seeking a skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning team in mid Kent. This role will focus on managing project costs and contractual matters from tender stage through to final account, ensuring financial efficiency while supporting high-quality project delivery.

Projects
  • Typical projects range from £5-£30m covering the healthcare, education, residential and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor cost plans, budgets, and valuations.
  • Lead procurement and tendering processes, including subcontractor negotiation and appointment.
  • Manage contracts, variations, and claims to maintain strong financial control.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; professional membership (RICS or similar) advantageous.
