What You Will Do
·Lead, manage and develop the project quality team.
·Work with QA manager and project team to develop and implement systems / KPI’s to improve efficiency andensure company and project quality targets / KPI’s are met.
·Interpret company, project and industry specific requirements and specifications to develop and manage the project Quality Plan.
·Interpret company, project and industry specific requirements and specifications, engineering drawings, material specifications top develop and manage Eta and sub-supplier Inspection and Test Plans.
·Prepare, review and verify quality documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company, project and industry standards.
·Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address documentation queries to ensure resolution in line with company, project and industry standards.
·Identify and document non-conformances, leading corrective and preventive action initiatives where required.
·Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to verify quality standards and expectations are understood and met. Participating / leading in meetings, such as Pre-Inspection Meeting, where required.
·Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address quality issues and ensure timely resolution
·Maintain accurate records / documentation of quality activities.
·Conduct quality inspections and audits in line with ITP to ensure compliance with company, project and industry specific requirements, such as;
oIncoming material inspections.
oWelding.
onon-destructive testing.
ofinal inspections.
ofinal documentation reviews.
oManage, organize, and maintain all quality-related documents, including inspection reports, certificates, and compliance records.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
·Leadership and Team management.
·Proven experience in Quality Control, ideally within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
·Strong understanding of industry specific standards such as ASME, API, PED and ISO standards, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
·Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and dye penetrant testing.
·Experience in material verification and welding inspection is highly desirable.
·Familiarity with quality control documentation, such as ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
·Excellent attention to detail and organizational and problem-solving skills.
·Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
·Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
·Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications, word, excel.
·Experience working in a high-pressure, safety-critical environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
·Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
·Certifications in NDT (e.g., PCN, ASNT Level II) or welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP).
