Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for high-quality workplace and commercial fit-out projects in St Albans, Hertfordshire. You will take commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account, collaborating closely with the delivery and design teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial fit-out, refurbishment or construction.
• Background with main contractor or design & build environments.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of projects from contract award to completion.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Handle variations, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review and agree subcontractor accounts.
• Monitor project costs, margins and commercial performance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers and delivery teams.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project.
• Support pre-construction and estimating teams as required.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
