Job summary

PA Consulting Group is seeking exceptional Delivery/Transformation professionals to lead digital and technology-enabled change within Financial Services. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, shape evangelised roadmaps, and deliver outcomes that improve customer value and business performance.

Experience across banks, insurers and wealth management is highly valued, with a strong emphasis on agile ways of working and modernising platforms. A premium on client impact and governance.

Developing meaningful and long-standing partnerships with our clients, the team also has an extensive track record of providing crucial advisory services and building delivery capability and delivery excellence for client teams at all levels.

Our growing team covers the full spectrum of delivery expertise. Our experience ranges from supporting highly complex business transformations, to delivering infrastructure and engineering projects, through to providing deep technical expertise on IT and technology driven change. We are looking for candidates with the potential to become future leaders within the firm. Our Delivery team goes far beyond traditional programme management. We are seeking individuals who combine outstanding delivery capability with deep expertise in digital and technology-enabled transformation within Financial Services.

The strongest candidates will bring experience of helping financial institutions modernise their businesses through digital, data and technology-enabled change, whilst maintaining a relentless focus on business outcomes, customer value and transformation delivery.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of:

• Digital Transformation and Operating Model Change
• Data and AI Transformation
• Digital Customer Experience and Customer Journeys
• Cloud Migration and Cloud-Native Transformation
• Payments Modernisation and Financial Market Infrastructure
• Core Platform and Legacy Technology Modernisation
• Digital Products and Channels
• Agile at Scale and Product Operating Models
• Wealth, Asset Management, Banking or Insurance Digital Transformation

We would expect you to demonstrate experience in at least three of the following:

• Leading large-scale digital transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation and value realisation
• Delivering complex technology-enabled change across banking, insurance, wealth management or financial market infrastructure organisations
• Leading digital product, platform or customer experience transformation initiatives
• Delivering data, analytics, AI or automation programmes that drive measurable business outcomes
• Managing complex technology delivery involving cloud, applications, infrastructure or platform modernisation
• Establishing agile delivery models, product organisations or scaled agile ways of working
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams including business, technology, data and architecture stakeholders
• Translating business strategy into executable transformation roadmaps and delivery plans
• Delivering transformation in highly regulated environments whilst balancing innovation and risk
• Building client capability through PMOs, Transformation Offices and delivery excellence functions

• Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
