Role Requirements:

1. Data Analyst - Artificial intelligence / complex data.
2. Selects and applies non-standard business intelligence tools and techniques to provide insights and aid decision-making. Selects, acquires, and integrates data for analysis.
3. Plans and drives the development of data engineering solutions ensuring that solutions balance functional and non-functional requirements.
4. Derives data management structures and metadata to support consistency of information retrieval, combination, analysis, pattern recognition, and interpretation.
5. Applies a range of data science techniques and uses specialised programming languages.
6. Understands and applies rules and guidelines specific to heavy industry, and anticipates risks and other implications of modelling.
7. Formats and communicates results using textual, numeric, graphical, and other visualisation methods appropriate to the target audience.
8. Collates conclusions and recommendations and presents forensic findings to stakeholders.
9. Contributes to the development, evaluation, monitoring, and deployment of artificial intelligence systems and numerical algorithms.
10. Plans and implements improvements to measurement capability. Provides advice and guidance for effective use of measures and measurement.
11. Selects measures appropriate to the context and programme outcomes.
12. Creates new mathematical representations of the underlying programme performance.

Security Level:

BPSS + SC + Subject to ITAR and UK eyes only
