Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Job Purpose:

As Project/Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production processes for a new product. This role requires an understanding of aerospace regulations and quality standards as well as leadership skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring the high quality production of aerospace components and systems. You will lead a team of production operatives and coordinate various departments to meet production goals, maintain safety standards and comply with aerospace regulations.

Key Responsibilities (include by not limited to):

Project manager the new product from demo to high rate.

Maintain and manage operational areas, ensuring they meet all necessary cleanliness and safety standards.

Oversee day to day project and production operations, including manufacturing, assembly and testing processes.

Plan and schedule production activities to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Ensure components adhere to quality standards and comply with industry regulations

Implement and maintain robust quality control.

Investigate and resolve quality issues or non conformities.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.

Implement best practices and innovative technologies to enhance productivity and quality.

Enforce strict safety protocols within the working area, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate risk.

Lead and motivate team.

Provide guidance, training and performance feedback to team members

Foster a collaborative work environment to enhance team performance and moral.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards, regulations, and quality control

Ability to work in a highly regulated and controlled environment.

Excellent leadership, communications, and problem solving skills.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
