Job summary

Bleckmann UK is seeking a hands-on Project Procurement professional to support procurement activities within a dynamic project environment. You will manage procurement from planning through to delivery, coordinating with project teams, site management and suppliers to hit key milestones.

Qualifications

• Hands-on procurement experience within a project environment.
• Experience in technical, asset, building or facilities-related procurement.
• Strong supplier coordination and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on procurement support within a project environment from requirements to delivery.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned projects.
• Translate requirements into procurement plans and purchasing activities.
• Coordinate purchasing and deliveries with project schedules and operations.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, delivery schedules and terms.
• Collaborate with Category Managers to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost and delivery; address risks proactively.
• Support installation, commissioning and project handover activities as needed.
• Manage open orders, backorders and delayed deliveries.
