Role: Planning/Projects Assistant

Location: Blackburn

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

I'm looking for a Planning/Projects Assistant in Blackburn. If you're someone who thrives on keeping things organised, loves problem-solving, and enjoys working across different departments, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

In this role, in the fast-moving world of FMCG, you'll play a key part in making sure my client has always got the right materials, people, and equipment in place!

The Role:

• Keeping a close eye on minimum stock levels to make sure they never under or over-stocked.
• Working with the Sales team to understand what our OEM customers need and when.
• Coordinating with the procurement team to keep everything flowing smoothly.
• Liaising daily with the Operations Manager, Purchasing, Mixing, and Maintenance teams to make sure all the resources are available to hit production targets.
• Monitoring production progress - flagging issues and challenging delays where needed.
• Producing clear, insightful reports on our production processes and offering suggestions to help us workflow efficiently.

You:

• You've got previous planning experience, ideally within the Retail or FMCG sectors.
• You know how to build great relationships with both colleagues and customers.
• You're confident in your negotiation skills and know how to keep things moving.
• Numbers are your thing - your numerical and analytical skills are solid.
• You're organised, proactive, and not afraid to speak up when something needs fixing.
