A leading project management firm is seeking a Project Planner in Newport, Wales, to lead project scheduling efforts in a hybrid work environment. Project Planner - SC cleared

The role is based in Bristol (hybrid working).

The contract duration is 12 months.

The pay rate is £55 - £65 per hour (via Umbrella agency).

Key accountabilities of the role
  1. Lead the project team to develop and deliver a detailed integrated schedule, ensuring it meets time, quality, and cost targets, and achieves customer satisfaction and internal goals. Create baselines and manage them effectively.
  2. Drive the project team to achieve 100% on-time delivery by creating scenario plans and analysing variations using earned value techniques (EVM) and variation reporting against the baseline.
  3. Utilize strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills to ensure the schedule reflects all contract work and deliverables, is current, and supports performance measurement. Your motivation and passion will help deliver successful project outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders including Project Managers, Control Account Managers, Project Controllers, customers, and wider project teams. Report to the Project Planning Discipline Leader for ongoing development.
  5. Leverage the company's culture of innovation to continually develop your knowledge and expertise.
