Project Planner – New Hospital Programme

We are the Joint Health Delivery Partner (HDP) for the NHS New Hospitals Programme. As we mobilize for this national infrastructure project, we are recruiting Project Planners to support the HDP’s programmes and controls functions.

The Project Planner will work on high-profile hospital construction projects across the UK, providing performance reporting and analysis. Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring schedule data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors is integrated into planning systems.
  2. Maintaining accurate and complete schedules, providing independent advice on scheduling issues.
  3. Managing multiple projects across various locations and contractors.
  4. Monitoring and tracking portfolio schedules.
  5. Preparing planning contributions for reports and presentations.
  6. Analyzing schedule impacts of variances and change orders.
  7. Developing resource plans, identifying peaks, and recommending leveling strategies.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in project planning within the construction industry.
  • Degree qualification and sector-specific experience.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Excellent communication skills, adherence to processes, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
