Job description

Job Title: Project Planner

Up to £350 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid - 1-2 days a week on site
Duration: 6 months

My client is an instantly recognisable, major consulting firm seeking a Project Planner with experience in the Construction, Engineering, Utilities, or Energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of MS Project (2016) and will assist with a critical programme.

Key Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Project Planner, particularly in IT Transformation Projects.
2. Experience working in the Energy, Engineering, Construction, or Utilities sectors.
3. Excellent understanding of Microsoft Project 2016, with advanced skills including formulas and views.
4. In-depth knowledge of planning processes and standards.
5. Proficiency with PowerBI for reporting purposes.
6. Experience in designing, building, testing, and implementing new projects.
7. Knowledge of planning standards and data requirements for reporting.
8. Experience with Agile Methodology.
9. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Flexible approach to hybrid working.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with Cyber Security or Cyber-related Programmes.
2. Exposure to Operational Technology environments.
3. Experience with SAFe Methodology.
4. Degree qualification.
5. Immediate availability preferred.
