Qualifications

  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject required.
  • Strong grasp of NEC3/NEC4 contract frameworks.
  • Experience across MEP projects preferred.

Job Opportunity: MEP Planner – Major Nuclear Project

Location: Bridgwater / Hybrid

Contract Length: 12+ Months (with Permanent Options Available)

Rate: £550–£600/day (Inside IR35)

Join a respected, forward-thinking construction consultancy at the heart of one of the UK’s most high-profile nuclear projects. We're seeking an experienced MEP Planner to take the lead on programme development, drive scheduling performance, and play a pivotal role in project controls from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and manage complex project schedules using Primavera (P6).
  • Track and report on project progress, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Present clear, insightful programme data to project teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Apply change management best practices and support the evaluation of NEC3 compensation events.
  • Develop and implement robust planning systems aligned with client requirements.

  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject.
  • Deep knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract frameworks.
  • Strong grasp of critical path analysis and schedule risk techniques.
  • Sharp data analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into strategic action.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to varied stakeholders.
  • Experience working across MEP projects.

Security Requirements: Must be eligible for SC or BPSS Clearance.
