People Group are looking to recruit a P6 Planner to help a Tier 1 contractor deliver the AMP 8 Severn Trent or Welsh Water Framework.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Ensure that the programme content and functionality comply with Clients Planning Processes and Procedures.
  2. Provide full lifecycle planning across multiple projects, including bids, pre-construction, and live projects.
  3. Review documents, specifications, and scopes to identify contract requirements and major constraints.
  4. Develop detailed bid programmes, method statements, and logistics proposals for final submission.
  5. Create outline plans and methodologies during the bid stage.
  6. Visit sites to assess conditions and constraints for preparing tender programmes and method statements.
  7. Produce detailed, fully integrated design, procurement, and construction stage Contract Programmes, which may need to be resourced and cost-loaded.
  8. Prepare progress data and generate relevant progress reports.
  9. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and third parties to establish compliant programmes.
  10. Monitor and report on progress of pre-construction and live projects, identifying potential delays and recommending mitigation measures.
  11. Assist in the development of junior team members as needed.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in planning water projects successfully.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project planning.
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Primavera P6 (essential), MS Excel, and Word.

Offered is a salary of between £40,000 - 50,000 per annum, along with private healthcare, pension, holiday entitlement (which increases with years of service), and additional benefits.
