Skills & Experience Required
  • Competent IT user with a proven experience of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Competent user of Primavera 6 with a minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience
  • Working knowledge of rail specific Project Planning
  • Working knowledge of Schedule Management & Reporting
  • Appreciation & Understanding of Change Control, Baseline Management, Operational Planning i.e., Rail Possessions
  • Full UK Driving license with the ability to travel to site offices.
Roles & Responsibilities

As a Project Planner you will be responsible for development, maintenance and reporting of the P6 schedule within your allocated section of the programme. These responsibilities include but are not limited to activity management, coding, resources, quantities & costs.

Key Deliverables
  • Develop detail in existing schedules
  • Provide a focal point for planning within Project teams
  • Produce and maintain work scope trackers
  • Prepare and issue week look ahead plans on a periodic basis
  • Production of QSRA/Hour by Hour programmes for works being undertaken in disruptive possessions in line with DWWP guidance
  • Assist the Planning Manager in producing Planned vs Actual reports
  • Production of high-quality outputs inclusive of visual dashboards
  • Communicating Programme Criticality and Interfaces with the Team
  • Resource Loading Programmes
