Project Planner – M&E / Fit Out | Manchester

Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days office/site, 2 days remote

Industry: Data Centre

Salary: £60 – 80k

Project Value: £20 million

We are working with a leading contractor delivering a high-profile data centre project in Manchester. They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Planner to join the team and take ownership of planning activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Project Planner
  • Strong background working with subcontractors
  • Proven experience in either M&E or fit out
  • Data centre project experience is highly advantageous
  • Proficient with Primavera P6
  • Able to work in a hybrid setup – approx. 50% office/site-based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project programmes
  • Conduct delay analysis and provide critical path insight
  • Support tendering processes and bid submissions
  • Work closely with delivery teams and subcontractors to ensure programme accuracy and compliance
  • Report on progress, risks, and key milestones
  • Monitor and manage planning documentation and updates

About the Project:

This is a £20m data centre project involving complex M&E systems and high-spec fit out. You will play a critical role in ensuring delivery stays aligned with the client's objectives and timelines.
