About the Role:
MJM are looking for a dynamic and skilled Project Planner to join a successful team in London Heathrow. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in airport projects, contributing to the success of complex, high-profile initiatives in the aviation and parcel industries.
As a Project Planner, you will support and coordinate all planning activities, helping to keep projects on track and ensuring the successful execution of our operations. With a strong focus on project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication, you will make an impact on both the progress and the outcomes of projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that align with scope and objectives.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify critical paths, risks, and opportunities, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to create and integrate project plans.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and provide timely reports, helping project managers stay on track.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate clear communication and ensure alignment across all involved parties.
- Analytical Insights: Offer recommendations to improve project planning, execution, and performance.
- Data Analysis: Utilize strong Excel skills to assist in project reporting and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a project planning environment, with experience in manufacturing or airport settings.
- Tools: Proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential), with experience in developing and maintaining P6 programs.
- Qualifications: Relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, or similar) is desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, and ability to work under pressure.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in aviation or baggage handling is advantageous but not essential.
- Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
