Job description

We're looking for a Planner to join our Natural Resources team, working on our Southern Water project from home and the Falmer office in East Sussex. This role involves supporting a new 7-year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Location: Falmer, East Sussex. Occasional remote work is possible, but regular site visits are required.

Contract: Permanent, full-time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing programme strategies for construction and tenders.
  • Constructing and maintaining detailed programmes (in P6 & 4D - training provided).
  • Interpreting tender documentation and inputting into construction techniques and buildability assessments.
  • Coordinating with estimators and project teams on programme aspects and taking ownership to drive project delivery.
  • Communicating programme information, risks, and commercial issues to operational teams.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience and knowledge of construction techniques, with commercial and contractual understanding.
  • Ability to develop, own, and manage programmes, including sub-contractor schedules.
  • Understanding of planning techniques and building programmes from scratch.
  • Proficiency in planning software (preferably P6) and 4D software.
  • Knowledge of design software such as CAD, Civils 3D, and Revit.
