Tetra Tech Europe is seeking an experienced Project Planner to develop, maintain and analyse schedules for major infrastructure projects. You will support NEC-compliant submissions and contribute to recovery planning across complex environments.
You will apply first-principles planning and risk-adjusted scheduling while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery and robust project performance.
Working within our high-performing Planning & Scheduling team, as part of the wider Project Controls function, you’ll play a key role in delivering major new build and refurbishment projects where precision planning, effective scheduling and proactive programme controls are critical to success.
As an experienced Project Planner, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle. You’ll support NEC-compliant programme submissions, undertake programme assurance activities, and contribute to recovery planning and performance monitoring across complex engineering and construction environments.
This is an opportunity to influence critical infrastructure delivery by providing robust, data-driven planning expertise. You’ll work closely with project and programme teams to improve project certainty, identify risks early and drive informed decision-making.
You’ll apply first-principles planning techniques, develop risk-adjusted schedules and support integrated programme delivery across multi-disciplinary teams. Your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively and solve complex scheduling challenges will directly contribute to successful project outcomes.
You’ll ideally hold MCaSA, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent professional accreditation, alongside proven experience in project planning within major infrastructure or other complex engineering and construction environments. Experience within defence, nuclear, water or other highly regulated sectors would be highly advantageous. Experience preparing and assuring programmes for quantitative schedule risk analysis would also be beneficial.
This role offers flexibility alongside collaboration within a technically focused engineering environment. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with a blend of office, client-site and remote working depending on project requirements. Regular collaboration with project teams is expected, including approximately 2–3 days per week in the office or on site.
