Job summary

The Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation for an experienced Project Planner to join their PMO team on a 12-month temporary contract. Location: Oxford; Hours: 37.5 per week; On-site, full-time.

You will create and manage project plans, integrate them into master schedules, and monitor progress, resources and costs across complex engineering projects. Strong Primavera P6 and PMO skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating and maintaining detailed, resourced project plans.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 for complex projects.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Gantt charts and Critical Path Analysis.
• Experience with resource and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle and stage-gate reviews.
• PM qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed, resourced project plans.
• Monitor progress against schedules and develop recovery plans where required.
• Provide accurate project reporting, including KPIs.
• Support Project Managers with planning, risk, change and cost control.
• Facilitate planning meetings and project workshops.
• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning.
