About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Planner to support the planning and delivery of a major nuclear infrastructure project. Based in our London office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of the project by developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Work closely with project teams to define scope, objectives, and key milestones.
  • Integrate various workstreams into a comprehensive project schedule, ensuring alignment with project objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis, critical path analysis, and resource loading assessments.
  • Monitor project progress, track key deliverables, and highlight deviations from baseline plans.
  • Provide regular reports and dashboards to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Support project controls, risk management, and mitigation planning activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to optimise scheduling strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the infrastructure, energy, or nuclear sectors.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment with tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts and their application in project planning is desirable.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field.
