Job summary

VIQU Energy is seeking an organised Project Planner in Coventry to join our growing projects team. You will develop and maintain customer-facing project programmes, monitor progress and support effective project controls and reporting.

You will work closely with Project Managers, the PMO Manager and the planning team, with training and development provided to help you progress in project planning.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and maintaining project programmes.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and communicate project programmes using Microsoft Project.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure project information is accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks, issues and potential delays at an early stage.
  • Ensure programmes clearly identify contractual dates, key milestones and key project dependencies.
  • Produce project planning reports, updates and performance information for the PMO and wider business.
  • Maintain accurate, controlled and accessible project and business documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, standards and reporting.
