Job description

We're looking for a Planner to join our Natural Resources team, working on our Southern Water project. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and from our Falmer office in East Sussex. You will be involved in a new 7-year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Location: Falmer, East Sussex. Occasional site visits will be required.

Contract: Permanent, full-time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

What will you be responsible for?

Supporting the production of project programmes, owning key reports, and providing ad hoc administrative support. This role is suitable for someone more junior aiming to grow into the position.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Developing programme strategies for construction and tenders.
• Constructing and maintaining detailed programmes (in P6 & 4D, training provided).
• Interpreting tender documentation to inform construction techniques and buildability.
• Coordinating with estimators and project teams, owning the programme to drive project delivery.
• Communicating programme information, risks, and commercial issues to operational teams in various formats.

• You have experience and knowledge of construction techniques, with good commercial and contractual understanding.
• You can develop, own, and manage programmes, including sub-contractor programmes.
• You are familiar with planning techniques and building programmes from scratch.
• You are proficient in planning software, preferably P6, and 4D software.
• You have knowledge of design software such as CAD, Civils 3D, or Revit.
