Job summary

Aureos are seeking a Project Planner to join the project team on a 12 month contract in Andover. The role focuses on providing planning and scheduling to meet client specifications and contract requirements.

You will develop, maintain and analyse schedules, perform critical path analysis, track progress, and support change management and risk assessment, on-site in Andover with a generous salary and employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of civil engineering project planning experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Experience with critical path analysis and milestone tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and execute the project schedule and planning objectives.
  • Support training on compensation events, extension of time and variations.
  • Apply advanced scheduling techniques to maintain critical path plans.
  • Provide progress updates and compare with the plan.
  • Identify changes, document variations, and assist in change orders.

Aureos are currently seeking a Project Planner to join the project team on a 12 month contract basis in Andover.

Working closely with the project team, the primary purpose of this role is the provision of Project Planning and Scheduling ensuring the management of planning and scheduling aspects to the Client specification/contract requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Ensure the development, implementation and execution of the Project Schedule and Planning objectives within the contracted work scope
  • Where entitlement requires to be demonstrated offering support to the projects teams around training on Compensation Events, Extension of Time (EOT) because of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency.
  • Independently apply advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within the project environment, developing, maintaining, and analysing critical path plans and related schedules
  • Provide accurate progress measurement updates and compare with the plan.
  • Identify and document changes and variations of scope and assist in raising and tracking change orders to identify and invoice additional cost and revenue
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Oracle Primavera P6
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Civil Engineering preferably, Highway schemes and public realm projects.
  • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with Company Policies/Procedures and BMS processes
  • Prepare level 3 plans as per the WBS and produce summary level 1 views for reporting/communications.
  • Carrying out critical path analysis and develop milestone tracking systems.
  • Planning updates and management templates to measure, monitor and report progress.
  • Planning scenarios for options under consideration.
  • Analysis on mitigation measures and recovery planning and provide input to risk evaluation/analysis exercises
