Project or Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Central London

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Depends On Experience)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work on technically challenging projects, managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion, reporting to a Partner or Associate.

Responsibilities

• Manage project production from start to finish, with oversight.
• Prepare project management plans, reports, calculations, specifications, drawings, and models.
• Develop Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Lead and manage project resources.
• Make technical and commercial decisions to manage risks.
• Coordinate with professionals and clients through meetings and calls.
• Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience with UK Building Control submissions.
• Creativity and innovation in civil engineering design, especially highways and drainage.
• Knowledge of regulations like Manual for Streets, Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, Sewers for Adoption, SuDS Manual, NPPF.
• Experience with PDS, Micro Drainage, AutoCAD (Civils 3D preferred).
• Understanding of CDM Regulations.
• Ability to plan, manage, and present effectively.
• Commercial awareness and risk management skills.
