A leading archaeological firm in Milton Keynes is seeking Project Officers and Senior Project Officers. The role includes team leadership and expertise in British archaeology. Ideal candidates will possess strong organisational skills, a relevant degree, and a full manual driving license. Pay: Starting at £32,199 & £36,558 respectively (DOE)
Location: Milton Keynes Office
Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)

CFA is looking to appoint permanent Project Officers and/or Senior Project Officers to our Milton Keynes office, beginning as soon as the successful candidates are available.
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of British archaeology and the planning process with experience of team leadership, fieldwork, recording and report production. You will possess the skills to ensure your work matches all relevant Project Designs, Briefs, and Specifications and complete schedules within resource allocations and timescales. You will also be effective at maintaining good relations with colleagues, clients and their agents, curatorial authorities and visitors.
We also look to employ the right technology for the job and invest in technical solutions wherever possible. Staff are provided with access to a broad range of professional development and skills training, including external HR and Occupational Health Support, where necessary.

CFA Archaeology grew out of an established unit within Edinburgh University’s Department of Archaeology, becoming a separate Ltd company in 2000. We operate out of four offices and pursue a wide range of archaeological projects across the UK. We are committed to staff training and development and offer opportunities to progress within a supportive, professional environment. We can be flexible about office location and, for report writing and post-excavation, offer home or office-working or a mix of both.
